Regions is a software designed
for compute genomic alterations in a large high resolution
CGH-Array data set.
Regions is an implementation of MAR & CMAR algorithms
published by Pr. Céline Rouveirol and colleagues.
See bioinfomatics [Rouveirol et al. 22 (7): 849. (2006)]
or PubMed id [16434445].
Regions tries to be a useful tool for biology researchers.
It tries to improve understanding of genomic gains and
losses in tumours tissues.
Regions was designed at Curie Institute, molecular oncology team during a
Master Specialised in Bioinformatic
at EISTI, school of engineering and
computer science. This project is due to a close
collaboration of Pr. Céline Rouveirol and Dr. François
Radvanyi.
